Jason & Adrienne's Place

Here's a tour of Jason and Adrienne's new home. Sorry the quality is low. HD videos take forever to upload so for the sake of time this is a low quality video.

Titus Wilson Hawkins

Titus Wilson has arrived!

He was born at 12:46 this afternoon, May 28, 2009.

He weighs 8 pounds 14 ounces and is 21 3/4 inches long.

He has a good bit of hair, yet not quite as dark or long as Liam's was.

Below are two of his first photos.

Thank you all who have been praying for this little guy. He and Mommy are both doing very well

No Baby Yet

Just a quick update for anyone wondering...

New baby boy was due Saturday, May 23. As of 2:00pm Wednesday he is still not here and we're still waiting.

However, Crystal is scheduled to be induced at 5:30am Thursday. So please be praying that all goes well. Pray for Crystal to not be anxious and obviously for safety for both mother and child during delivery.

Hopefully by this time tomorrow we'll have our new addition in our arms!

Liam's Birth Video

With the new baby coming in a few days, we've been reminiscing over Liam's arrival. We pulled out his birth video and let him watch it for the first time. He enjoys seeing all the people he knows in the slideshow at the end.

Dog Search (please cast your vote on the right)

We're on the front end of another dog search. We're doing our homework, but there's a lot to consider when picking out a new dog. At any rate, I'll kind of break down those breeds currently in the running:

Tree Dog was the best dog we've ever known. And he was a good representation of the breed. They meet everything we look for in a dog and fit our family almost perfectly. However, it may be fun to own a different type of dog. Plus no other boxer could replace Tree.

English Bulldog

Sweet, funny, love kids, love their familes. However, they're kind of expensive (not a major consideration) and they have tons of health issues which would not be fun.

Whippet

A new idea for us, but the more we look into them the more they're rising up the charts. Pros: can run up to 40mph. Cons: ugly as sin (and not in a cute bulldog type way).

Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Pretty good looking dog. Muscular and active, but not as big as a boxer. They love their families and they're excellent with children. The negative here is that they're notorious for going after smaller animals. So they're not a breed that'd be good to let off the leash in a park which is a major drawback.

French Bulldog

Crystal's favorite as far as looks go. And Matthew's already decided if we go this route his name should be Wesley. They're kind of expensive, have a few health and breathing issues, and can be stubborn when training.

It's not 100% that our final choice will come from the above list. There are many other breeds to be explored. The one major characteristic that does rule out most breeds, however, is long hair. Unfortunately neither Matthew nor Crystal are willing to entertain the idea of living with a long-haired dog.

Other possible, yet unlikely, considerations yet to break their way into the top 5:

Weimaraner

Italian Greyhound

Pug

Boston Terrier

Any feedback or thoughts, whatsoever, would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Downtown Church

Jason replaced some shingles on Downtown Church today so I went onto the roof and took these photos. Both images are the same set of photos, just bent opposite directions. They started as stitched panoramas.
